The Amerigo Vespucci Society (AVS) of Long Branch NJ awarded two local high school seniors with college scholarships in 2012: Taylor Chaparro of Long Branch High School who will be studying Nursing at West Virginia University and Mina Cosentino of Ocean Township High School who will be studying Marketing at Northeastern University.
