At-large meetings are held once per month.

Only AVS members in good standing may attend these meetings

  • Mass for Deceased Brothers (usually held in May at Holy Trinity Church in Long Branch NJ)

  • AVS Family & Friends Picnic (usually held in September)

  • Columbus Day Parades (the AVS marches in the Long Branch NJ Parade & the NYC parade)

  • Wine Tasting & Gift Auction

  • AVS Family Christmas Party (held each December)

  • AVS Zeppole Stand (held at the Long Branch Oceanfest celebration each July)

  • AVS Annual Man-of-the-Year Dinner Gala (usually held the first Saturday of March)

  • St Joseph's Dinner (held in April at the AVS)

  • Tripe Dinner (usually held in April / May at the AVS)

  • AVS Brothers and Friends BBQ (held each summer at the AVS)
